Death anniversary

Today is the 31st death anniversary of student leader Mirza Abu Raihan Jaglu, who was killed in police firing during students' movement against increased bus fare in Tangail town in 1987.

Family members and Tangail district unit of Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) will organise various programmes including placing wreaths at his memorial plaque, doa mahfil and food distribution among the poor.

Jaglu was the vice-president of JCD Tangail district unit.
