Death anniversary

Today is the 12th death anniversary of Gour Chandra Bala, an advocate and former provincial minister for ministry of food and forest of erstwhile Pakistan.

Born in 1923 in Ullabari village in Madaripur, he was the fourth child of Rajmohon Bala and Naraoni Bala. He died at the age of 82 in Faridpur.

On this occasion, recitation from the holy Geeta, puja and memorial programme will be held at Bala bhaban in Faridpur town and in Ullabari village at his tomb.
