Death anniversary

Today is the sixteenth death anniversary of Surendra Nath Halder; father of Chaitanya Chandra Halder, court correspondent of The Daily Star, says a press release.

On the occasion, recitation from the Geeta, Kirtan, memorial discussion and a prayer session will be held at his village home in Nayakandi Bajitpur under Rajoir upazila of Madaripur.
