Super Chef: Culinary contest held in Rangamati

The audition of the county's biggest culinary contest Rupchanda-The Daily Star Super Chef-2017 took Rangamati by storm yesterday.

Over 45 applicants attended the event held in the Rangamati Cultural Institute hall.

Of all the participants who appeared in a 30-minute written test, only 10 accomplished the test and made it to a cook-off stage.

Among the 10, Sagarika Chakma won over the event's judges Umme Kulsum and Jebunnessa, sealing her passage to the final round to be held in the capital.

The contest's next round will be held in Cox's Bazar tomorrow.
