Ctg Wasa worker injured in clash between rival unions

A worker of Chittagong Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) was injured in a clash between two groups of workers at the workplace in Agrabad yesterday morning.

Injured Rezwan Hossain, 40, an assistant at the store division of mode-1, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital with head injuries.

According to other workers, some 12 workers of a rival union attacked Rezwan and his co-workers as they had a heated exchange with him in the morning over holding a rally at Mode-1 Agrabad office at the same time.
