Ctg, Rajshahi medical universities get first VCs

President Abdul Hamid appointed Prof Dr Ismail Khan and Prof Dr Masum Habib as vice-chancellors of Chittagong and Rajshahi Medical Universities respectively.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare yesterday issued a notification in this regard.

Prior to the appointments, Prof Khan was serving as principal of Dhaka Medical College and Dean of Dhaka University Faculty of Medicine while Prof Habib was a retired principal of now-defunct Rajshahi Medical College.

Both the institution got the VCs for the first time after the two medical colleges' elevation to universities.
