Cop’s body found in Dhaka

Police recovered the body of a police constable from Postogola Bridge in Jurain of Dhaka this evening.

Deceased Saddam Hossain, 22, was attached to the Public Order Management department of police in Mirpur, Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station, told The Daily Star.

“The body, wearing plain cloth, was lying in the middle of Postogola bridge. We found his identity card in his pocket,” he said.

“There was no injury mark on the body of the constable,” the OC further said.
