Contractor found dead in Jessore

Body of a contractor, Tanmoy Kumar Nandi, 35, was found on the rail track in Bhangagate area under Nawapara industrial town in Jessore around noon yesterday.

Locals found the body and took it to Abhaynagar Upazila Health, said Sheikh Goni Mia, officer-in-charge of Abhaynagar Police Station, quoting Bablu Nandi, Tanmoy's father.

Police were yet to confirm how he died. The OC said they were looking into the matter.
