Civil Aviation engineer held on graft charge

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday arrested an executive engineer of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) on charge of accumulation of wealth beyond his known sources of income.

Asir Uddin, the engineer, was arrested from Shahjalal International Airport area in Dhaka at noon.

ACC Deputy Director (Public Relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the information.
