Khokon promises modern Dhaka if voted mayor

Sayeed Khokon, mayoral aspirant of Dhaka South City Corporation polls

Awami League tent mayor hopeful for Dhaka south city corporation, Sayeed Khokon, announced his election manifesto today.

He promised of a traffic jam free, modern Dhaka city that will stand up to the standard of world class once elected a mayor.

With slogan “Porikolpito Unnon Sujoger Somota, nirapod o dushonmukto adhunik Dhaka”, Khokon announced his manifesto at Diploma Engineers’ Institute Auditorium in Dhaka this afternoon.

He promised of a clean, pollution free and healthy Dhaka city where dwellers will be ensured a secured life. Khokon said he will wage a war against corruption, extortion and terrorism.

AL leader Abdur Razzak, eminent poet Syed Shamsul Haque, cultural personalities Ramendra Majumder and Golam Kuddus, were present among others in the manifesto announcement programme.
