Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha’s wife flies to Australia

Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha’s wife Sushama Sinha left for Australia tonight.

A Singapore Airlines plane carrying her took off around 11:55pm, Md Anisur Rahman, personal secretary of the CJ, told The Daily Star.

Earlier on October 13, the chief justice said he was not sick as he left the country for Australia, contradicting the government's claim that he went on leave on health grounds earlier this month.

Anisur Rahman, however, could not say when Sushama Sinha will return to the country.
