Hostel super held with leaflets on Nizami

Police arrested a hostel superintendent of Al-Amin Academy School and College in Chandpur Sadar upazila with leaflets of Jamaat-e-Islami's executed leader Nizami on Sunday.

Arrested Abu Sufian, 43, had long been distributing among the students the leaflets titled "Nizami did not die".

Tipped off, a team of police raided the school and arrested him with 67 leaflets, said Rashedur Rahman, sub-inspector of Chandpur Model Police Station.

Sufian of Ketuwa village in the upazila is known to be a devoted member of Jamaat-e-Islami though he does not hold any post in the party, added the SI.

Wali Ullah, officer-in-charge of the police station, said a sedition case would be filed against him.
