Car veers off road, plunges into Kuril lake

A private car skidded off the road and into Kuril lake at the base of the flyover in Dhaka today.

The incident took place around 10:05am. Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters told The Daily Star that the vehicle was salvaged around 20 minutes into the incident.

Nobody was hurt in the incident. There were no passengers in the car. The driver managed to scramble out of the vehicle before it drowned in the water.
