BRUR teachers' association gets new committee

Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur Teachers Association got its new executive committee through an election on Sunday evening.

Both of the two pro-Awami League panels -- Blue and Progotishil Shikkhak Forum -- participated in the polls.

From the Blue panel, Dr Abu Saleh Mohammad Wadud Rahman, an associate professor of the Bangla department, was elected president; Golam Rabbani, assistant professor of history and archaeology, general secretary; and Masud Rana, treasurer, of the 15-member committee. The other panel got the remaining posts.
