British high commissioner visits Sylhet

British High Commissioner Alison Blake paid a three-day visit to Sylhet division and visited several UK Aid funded projects, including the ones for education and skills development, which are being run by partner organisations BRAC and UCEP.

During the visit which concluded yesterday, she met senior government officials, lawmakers,  Sylhet City Corporation mayor, and business leaders including representatives from the Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), and also hosted an Iftar party, said a press release of the high commission.
