Book reading festival held in Savar

Aiming to increase knowledge of the Liberation War among students, a book reading festival was held at Savar Girls' High School yesterday.

Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE) in cooperation with Lead School and Village Education Resource Centre (VERC) organised the event where over 500 students from several schools in Savar attended.

SM Rafiquzzaman, headmaster of the school; Sakeba Khatun, senior deputy programme manager of CAMPE; Tonuja Sharma, CAMPE programme officer; Ali Arif, principle of Lead School of Savar; and Babul Morol, VERC project manager, were present at the event.
