BNP leader Sadat remanded

BNP leader Syed Sadat Ahmed, who was arrested on Saturday night after going missing four months back, was remanded for three days yesterday.

Sadat, a central executive committee member of BNP and managing director of ABN Group, went missing from the capital's Banani on August 22.

On Saturday, the Detective Branch of police "detained" Sadat in Rampura Bridge area around 10:00pm. Later, he was shown arrested in a 2015 case for subversive activities.
