bKash agent shot, Tk 3 lakh looted

Muggers looted Tk 3 lakh from a bKash agent after shooting him in Tejgaon Industrial area of Dhaka in the wee hours today.

Saiful Islam Kajol, 45, a resident of Uttar Begunbari in Tejgaon area, was shot in his right leg, Nayek Jalal of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp told The Daily Star.

A gang of two to three muggers fired on Saiful and took away the money from his possession when he was returning home from his shop soon after the midnight, Jalal said.

Locals rescued and took Saiful to the DMCH, he added.

No one was arrested in this connection.
