Bidduth Barua org secy of European AL

General secretary of Denmark unit of Awami League Dr Bidduth Barua has been made organising secretary of All European Awami League.

A letter, signed on September 5 by MA Gani, general secretary of All European Awami League, said Biddhut was given the appointment to strengthen the party in Europe through bringing dynamism in its activities.

CEO and founder of Health Tech Foundation in Copenhagen, Bidduth was elected vice president (VP) of Dhaka Medical College Students' Union in 1990-2000, says a press release.

He was also president of DMC unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League in 1998-1999.

Before getting the new post, he was organising secretary of the European chapter of Secular Forum of Bangladesh.
