Human hauler driver stabbed to death in Dhaka

A human hauler driver was stabbed to death in Dhaka’s Keraniganj area early today.

Deceased Imran Hawlader, 22, was a resident of south Bontokpara in Keraniganj.

He came under attack allegedly by another human hauler driver Titu when he was on way to his residence around 9:15pm yesterday, the victim’s friend Iman Rana told The Daily Star today.

Injured Imran was admitted to a local clinic but later shifted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 12:00am. He succumbed to his injuries three hours later, Rana added.

Imran and Titu had engaged in a scuffle earlier last night at Kadamtoli, Rana said.
