Bangla Academy hosts programme on Tagore's birth anniversary today

Bangla Academy will hold a programme marking the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore in its Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad auditorium today.

It will include Rabindranath Award-2018 and a cultural programme.

Academy Director General Shamsuzzaman Khan will deliver the welcome speech at the programme chaired by Professor Emeritus Anisuzzaman while Rabindra University Vice Chancellor Prof Biswajit Ghosh will present the keynote speech.

The award will be given to Abul Momen for research and singer Fahim Hossain Choudhury for Rabindra Sangeet.
