Audit climate projects vigorously

The government should audit the climate change related development projects vigorously because climate change has a greater impact on the people of the country, a workshop was told yesterday.

The workshop was jointly organised by the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh and Inclusive Budgeting and UNDP-supported Financing for Climate Resilience (IBFCR) Project of Finance Division.

Comptroller and Auditor General Masud Ahmed, Finance Division Secretary Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, and UNDP Bangladesh Country Director Sudipto Mukerjee were present, among others.
