Ashulia girl rescued after two days of abduction, 1 arrested

Police rescued a three-year-old girl from a house at Madhobdi of Narsingdi yesterday, two days after she was abducted from her house at Kumkumari area of Ashulia.
Quoting victim's father Abdur Rashid, police said Rimi Akter was abducted on Monday evening. Later, one Al Mamun, a tailor in the area, called Rashid demanding Tk 2 lakh as ransom. By tracking the phone number police rescued Rimi and arrested one of the abductors Arif Hosen, while Mamun fled.
