Annisul awarded posthumously

The Information Communication Technology Division of the government today accorded the Smart Citizen Service Award to Annisul Huq posthumously for his achievement in turning the Dhaka North City Corporation into a smart city.

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury handed over the award to Annisul’s two daughters at a programme organised for the first time on the occasion of the National ICT Day.

State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, among others, was also present at the function held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka this afternoon. 

A total of 15 individuals were awarded in 12 categories in the programme.
