Amar Ekushey observed at Cadet College Club

Cadet College Club on Wednesday held a daylong programme on its premises in the capital, marking International Mother Language Day, said a press release.

Poet Asad Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest.

Four former cadets Maj (retd) Kamrul Hasan Bhuiyan, Md Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, Shakur Majid and Dr Abdullah Al Mamun Hussain were given memorial awards by the club for winning Bangla Academy Sahitya Puroshkar 2017.
