AL wants names of aspirants by Monday

Awami League yesterday instructed its grassroots level units to send names of candidates for the Union Parishad elections within Monday.

The instruction has been given to the party election board to send the lists to the Dhanmondi political office of party President Sheikh Hasina, said an AL press release.

Each union has been advised to recommend a lone candidate of the party for the poll, it added.
