AL submits audit report to EC

Ruling Awami League yesterday submitted its annual financial transaction report to the Election Commission citing that contributions of leaders, activists and lawmakers were the main source of the party's income last year.

Of its total expenditure, a large chunk was spent for office rent, organising party programmes and distributing relief, said the report. The party earned over Tk 90 million, while it spent around Tk 35 million last year, according to the report.
