7 jailed for cheating in admission test

A mobile court sentenced seven students to 20-day imprisonment each for using electronic devices during “A unit” admission test of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University in Gopalganj yesterday.

Meanwhile, as many as 52,279 students are expected to sit for the admission test of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet for 1,689 seats today.
