6 ‘robbers’ held in Dhaka

Rapid Action Battalion detained six suspected robbers along with firearms in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area of Dhaka today.

The detainees are Rakibul Hasan Sujon, 27, Imran Fakir, 22, Md Shamim, 22, Harun Byapari, 35, and Liton, 26.

A team of Rab-2 detained them when they were preparing for a robbery, Firoz Kabir, assistant superintendent of police, also media officer of Rab 2, told The Daily Star.
