6 including prime accused in Badda 4-murder case held

Detectives today arrested six people including the prime accused in a case filed for killing four people in Badda of Dhaka.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

Two pistols along with four bullets were recovered from their possession, according to a text message floated to media from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Headquarters.

Further details will be disclosed at a news briefing at the DMP media centre later in the day, also read the SMS.

Two people, including an Awami League leader, were killed and two others injured in a gun attack at the city's Badda on August 13 last year.

The injured two people later succumbed to their injuries.

A murder case was filed with Badda Police Station on August 14, 2015, accusing 10 to 12 unidentified persons.
