5-year programme to improve governance for WASH launched

Watershed- Empowering Citizens, a five-year policy and advocacy strengthening programme, was launched in the capital yesterday.

The programme aims to improve governance for water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and integrated water resource management through strengthening civil society organisations, said a press release.

In Bangladesh, WaterAid Bangladesh is the lead implementer of Watershed programme with support from the Development Organisation of the Rural Poor, and Gender and Water Alliance Bangladesh.
