5 ‘JMB’ men held with large cache of explosives

Huzayfa Akond, the Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) ameer of Mymensingh district, was among the arrestees in the drive which took place around 9:00pm, said the elite force.
In a special drive members of Rab-10 seized a large number of improvised explosive device (IED), explosives and bomb making materials from their possession at Baghbari field in Katherpul of Matuail, Major Rumman Mahmud, deputy director of Rab's media wing, told The Daily Star.
Details on the arrestees were not available as the elite force were conducting the drive in the area when this report was filed around 10:30pm.
Rab members will hold a press briefing at the spot, Major Rumman Mahmud said.
