5 Bangladeshis receive int'l HR award

Five Bangladeshi human resources (HR) officials received an international award for their outstanding contribution to the HR sector.

Four of the awardees are Sharmin Sultan Joya, vice-president and head of talent management and development at Robi Axiata Limited; Aleya Pervin Leena, head of HR at System Solutions and Development Technologies Ltd; Ajeyo Rohitashwo Al Quazi, group chief people officer (GCPO) at Aamra Companies; and Jahangir Nabi Nur, head of HR at Kazi Group, said a press release.

The “50 Top Global HR Tech Minds” award was awarded to them during the 26th edition of the World HRD Congress held in Mumbai, India, from February 15-17.

The awards were conferred by the authorities of the HRD Congress, which is one of the largest gatherings of HR officials worldwide, the release said.

Around 2,000 HR professionals from 133 countries took part in the event.
