4 lakh seedlings planted at Raojan in one hour

Around four lakh seedlings of different fruit spices were planted in Raozan municipality and different unions in the upazilaof Chittagong within just one hour yesterday.

Local lawmaker ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury inaugurated the project by planting a litchi tree seedling at the bank of Halda river near Sattar Ghat around 11:00am, said a press release.

Fazle said responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he took the initiative of planting four lakh seedlings besides roads, low land, and in front of religious establishments, houses and different educational institutions.
