3.45kg gold seized at Dhaka airport

Customs officials today recovered 30 gold bars weighing 3.45 kilogrammes from a flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

The officials challenged a passenger, Mohiuddin Ahmed, 30, of flight No BG 0022 and seized the gold bars hidden inside his waist around 1:00pm, said a press release.

The market price of the gold is 1.6 crore, the release added.
