300kg of polythene bags seized

The Department of Environment (DoE) yesterday seized about 300kg of banned polythene bags from a factory in Baropol area of Chittagong city, said a press release.

The DoE team issued notice to the authority of the organisation to remain present today at a hearing at DoE office, it added.
