3 RU students held as Shibir suspects

Three third-year students of Rajshahi University (RU) were detained yesterday on suspicion that they are activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir.

They are Farhad, a student of finance, Shafiqul of public administration and Shuvo of accounting and information systems. Some RU BCL activists confined them while they were allegedly trying to collect members for their party and handed them over to police.
