3 journos assaulted 'by CU BCL men'

Bangladesh Chhatra League activists allegedly assaulted three journalists at Chittagong University Wednesday night.

A group, led by the CU BCL unit assistant secretary Omar Faruq, attacked Momin Masud, CU correspondent of the daily Banik Barta, Joy Das of the Priyo Chattagram and Miraz Bappy of the daily Protidiner Sangbad before Alaol Hall, an allegation from Momin denied by Faruq.

CU Journalists Association filed a written complaint to Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury who said action will be taken after investigation.
