3 held over killing youth

Police arrested three persons from Chittagong city and Comilla early yesterday in connection with the killing of Jasim, 20, a worker at a tailor shop, who was stabbed to death early on Tuesday, in the port city's Bakalia area.

The arrestees are Md Raju, 23, Md Rony, 21, and Md Nuru, 20, said OC Pranab Kumar Chowdhury of Bakalia Police Station.

The trio told police that they attacked Jasim while one Mobarak stabbed him with a knife. “We're looking for Mobarak and other accused,” the OC said.
