3 cops closed for negligence of duty in Sylhet

Three policemen of Bishwanath Police Station were closed to Sylhet district police lines on Wednesday for negligence of duty.

The closed policemen are Kamal Ahmed, assistant sub-inspector, and two constables Samad Miah and Nasima Begum.

Abdul Hye, officer-in-charge of the police station, said Ruhul Amin,

an accused of a robbery case, fled the police station for their negligence of duty.

Later Habibur Rahman, sub-inspector of the police station, filed a case in this connection.
