Three held with 1.4 lakh Yaba pills

Police arrested three people with 1.4 lakh pieces of Yaba tablets in Merer Bazar area of Gazipur city yesterday.

The arrestees are Liton Hossen, 29, of Jessore, his younger brother Titin, 23, and Amir Hossen, 27, of Teknaf.

On information, police intercepted a pickup-van carrying betel nuts on Dhirasrom road and recovered the Yaba tablets, said Harun-or-Rashid, superintendent of police of Gazipur.
