25 HC lawyers appointed as assistant attorney generals

The government today appointed 25 lawyers of the High Court as assistant attorney generals for dealing with the cases on behalf of the state.

Now the numbers of assistant attorney generals stand at 121.

The new assistant attorney generals are: Mia Sirajul Islam, Anjuman Ara Begum, Najma Afreen, Mafij Uddin, Rokeya Akhter, Md Mizanur Rahman, Abantee Nurul, Mohammad Saiful Alam, Mahfuza Begum Haida, Fatema Rashid, Syeda Sabnab Mustari, Md Towfiq Sajaowar, Kalipodo Mridha, Md Altaf Hossain Amani, Md Hatem Ali, Muhammad Shaheen Mirdha, Ali Akbar Khan, Md Selim Azad, Aleya Khandaker, Marufa Akhter, AKM Alamgir Parvez Bhuiyan, Jayedi Hasan Khan, Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Kazi Bashir Ahmed and Sabina Parveen.

The law ministry today issued a notification to this effect.
