2 killed in Pirojpur

A man and his daughter-in-law were killed allegedly over previous enmity in Kachubuniya village of Pirojpur Sadar on Thursday night.

The deceased were Razendro Nath Halder, 60, and Marry Halder, 35, wife of Susil Halder of the village.

Police arrested a man -- Mrittunjoy Mondal, 45, -- and detained two others in this connection yesterday.
