2-day career fair in Ctg concludes

A two-day career fair concluded on Premier University campus in Chittagong city's GEC area yesterday.

Online career portal chakri.com organised the fair.

On the first day, after examining around 10,000 CVs, 17 organisations took interview of around 2,500 job seekers, said Md Redwan-ul-Huq, head of business of the portal.

On the concluding day, around 12,000 CVs of students from different private and public universities and colleges were submitted. Those CVs are being examined and the result would be conveyed within a short time, Redwan-ul-Huq added.

On the concluding day, two organisations -- Hifs Agro Food Industries, and Rayshine Electronic Ltd's RSP Water Pump -- gave instant appointment letters to several job seekers.

Seventeen organisations including Transcom Electronics, Eskayef Bangladesh, Pepsi, Green Delta Insurance Company, Pran, City Bank, Rangs Motors, Sajeeb Group, and RSP Water Pump, took part.

Premier University, Prothom Alo Bandhusabha, and ABC Radio were partners of the event.
