19 Bangladeshis in Singapore tested positive for Zika virus

As of yesterday, a total of 19 Bangladeshi workers in Singapore have been tested positive for Zika virus.

The Singaporean heath ministry has informed the Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore on the matter yesterday, said a foreign ministry press release.

The patients are presented with mild symptoms and have either recovered or recovering. They are being taken care of by the Singaporean health ministry.

The Bangladesh mission has been in constant touch with the Singaporean authorities and is monitoring the situation.
