18 pharmacy owners, staff sued for attack on Ctg mobile court

Eighteen pharmacy owners and staff were sued on Tuesday night over the attack on a mobile court drive against illegal drugs on Chittagong city's KC Dey Road on the day.

Jamal Uddin, an assistant of the mobile court, filed the case with Kotwali Police Station also accusing over 150 unidentified people, said Assistant Sub-inspector Shepu Barua.

The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Ruhul Amin was come under the attack allegedly by the owners and staff of around 450 pharmacies after it had fined two shops Tk 5,000 each in the area.
