10th Dhaka Lit Fest cancelled

Organisers announced the cancellation of the 10th edition of Dhaka Lit Fest (DLF) which was expected to take place in January 2021.

"Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are unfortunately unable to ensure the safety of our speakers as well as our attendees," stated the directors of DLF in a press release.

The festival, free and open to all, brings together renowned and upcoming names from home and abroad every year. It had over 30,000 people in attendance last year.

"Whilst we are sad to share this announcement, we are committed to ensuring that our 10th edition - in 2022 - will be one of the very best yet," stated the press release.
