1,010 Qawmi ulama get govt jobs

After government recognition to Qawmi certificates, a total of 1,010 Qawmi ulama are going to join government services on March 5.

An Islamic Foundation media release yesterday said the ulama will join the jobs as teachers of Qawmi Nesab at Arkam Ebtedayee Madrasa under the foundation's Child and Mass Education Project. This is the first time when such a large number of Qawmi ulama are getting government jobs at a time, the release added.

After their joining, a three-day orientation workshop will be arranged for them which will be inaugurated by Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman.
