Cigarettes worth Tk 30 lakh recovered at Ctg airport

Officials of Customs Intelligence recovered 560 cartons of American cigarettes at Shah Amanat International Airport yesterday afternoon.
Acting on a tip-off, the officials found the cigarettes, worth around Tk 30 lakh, inside three sofas at around 2:00pm yesterday, said Mostafizur Rahman, deputy director of customs intelligence.  
One Foysal Ahmed brought the sofas from Dubai on an Air Arabia flight on November 23, he added.
