CU to make list of disadvantaged students for providing gadgets for online classes

The authorities of Chittagong University have asked all disadvantaged students who are unable to purchase electronic gadgets for online classes, to submit their names to their respective departments within August 29.

The CU authority today issued a letter in this connection, where it also instructed all departments to make lists with those names.

"The academic activities of the country's universities are badly hampered as the universities have remained closed for a long time due to the evolving coronavirus situation," the letter reads.

In this backdrop, the authorities have decided to go for online classes by providing appropriate equipment among the disadvantage students for their academic pursuits, added the letter.
